Mexico held general elections on June 2, 2024. Claudia Sheinbaum was elected president, continuing the “Fourth Transformation” agenda of outgoing president Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
Eight new governors and a Head of Government of Mexico City were elected. At the federal level, all 128 seats in the Senate and all 500 seats in the Chamber of Deputies were up for election.
